"Wi-fi" doesn't have a valid IP configuration

I have no idea what the problem is with my network. I know I have the password right and I am definitely in range. Other devices work on the network also. I have the network diagnostics report and a screenshot of my IP configuration included. Please help!

I had the same problem until I changed the setting in the WiFi card. Search device manager and click on network, then right click QUALCOMM Atheros, then click properties and go to AdHoc 11n and enable it if it is disabled. Then reset the WiFi and reconnect. Hope this works for you
