Solved How do I setup Internet connection in Windows 8.1

I have been suffering from last some day with a problem. I install Windows 8.1 Enterprise x64 someday ago. but I can't connect my Internet connection via Modem. in windows 7 I can connected it easily, but now I can't. Please help me.

Wired or Wireless? Anything listed with a yellow ! in device manager? What steps have to taken to connect?

Are you using an Ethernet connection from the modem, and not a USB connection that could require drivers to be installed?

Support for your board from Intel ended 2010 so I had to look up the specs in order to find out which Realtek Lan driver you are using for your Intel DG41RQ mother board. >LAN Support 10/100/1000 Mbits/sec LAN subsystem using Realtek RTL8111D Gigabit Ethernet Controller

Specifications for Intel DG41RQ via .pdf >Intel® Desktop Board DG41RQ — Technical product specification

So now we need the updated Windows 8.1 driver version for this Realtek Lan driver.
So on this page> Realtek

You just go to Windows drivers at the top then down to driver version 8.020 which is the 4th one down dated 11-26-13, this is the driver you need to fix your problems.
