The latest drivers are now 12-17-2013, they seem to keep adding updated driver versions, they keep coming up with new drivers so hopefully these can fix the problems, if these don't work there is'nt much I can do to help. Be sure and delete the old wireless and create a new one for this connection.

When you are connected, can you run the command "ping 192.168.1.1 -t" and see if the pings fail when you gets the error message.
If it's not working, try to do the same command but use the ip address of an other computer connected to your network.

Maybe you will find a solution in the second link.

There are many unhappy Intel users with 8.1 having the same problem with the same N135 NIC, and that is where the problem is, with Intel. Christ knows I've done all I can here and from my point of view this problem is now solved, Intel failed to create working drivers on multiple occasions for this NIC.

You can try using compatibility mode or a different driver, OR install a different NIC, but in the end this NIC is not compatible with Windows 8.1 according to > https://www.microsoft.com/en-in/wind...=Windows%208.1
