The last item in the red warning box at the top of the tutorial below can help show you more on this. It wouldn't hurt to check all the other items as well.

    Hope this helps,

Thanks for your input Shawn. I will do so after I figure out how to get my router to show up again.

I was able to see it previously, now I can't.

You might try either unplugging the router for awhile or resetting the router using the reset switch on the side of the router.

This will sometimes get the router to show up again if they are messed up which seems to be the case. After that you will need to redo the wireless security settings password etc.

You could also try this WiFi Profile Manager 8: View Preferred Wireless Network Profiles in Windows 8 to delete old access points. Note that you have to close the app and open it again to see that they are deleted so it is a bit flakey but it does work and is easier than doing it manually I think.

I ended up doing this and IT WORKED !

Apparently, the router was somehow making duplicate Connections within itself. ?? ie Silverbullet (my router's name), Silverbullet 2 and Silverbullet 3. It was assigning the different connections to my different PCs/Laptops and they could NOT see each other.

So, doing a Full router RESET and making all new connections did the trick on this issue!

Thank you all for your input!

    That's a decent little App!

ALL of the old access points do in fact show up there. It is buggy for sure! I tried removing one of the old (duplicate) Silverbullet access points and it ended up knocking me right off-line. ?? I just had to reenter my credentials under the new access point's name. I think I'll leave well enough alone and not remove the old access points (for now.).

Are there any other programs that show all the access points like this ?

Good I'm glad that did the trick. You can mark as solved if it's fixed.
