everytime I boot up I get a few of these errors

Session "Pku2uLog" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
Session "NegoLog" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
Session "IDListenLog" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
Session "P2PLog" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035
Session "HomeGroupLog" failed to start with the following error: 0xC0000035

I have a PC running 8.1 and a laptop running 7 pro with a homegroup between them.. I have deleted the homegroup and rebuilt it to no avail and the errors keep happening... Any other info you guys may need please let me know...Thanks alot..

Sounds like you are missing some system files with those services unable to start. This seems to be a fairly typical problem with the upgrade but is usually fixable.

Try running the following scan in an Elevated Command Prompt - Open in Windows 8 , let me know what it says after the scan.

    Code:
    sfc /scannow

Hey Chev thanks for the reply, I have been doing that on a daily basis and it never finds anything.. If I delete the homegroup I dont have any of those errors on startup....

The only thing I can find on this would be to rename the setup.etl to setup.exe at the following location.

    C:\Windows\panther\ change setup.etl to setup.old and reboot.

This may get rid of the error messages but it's obviously just a work around.

Nobody seems to know why this problems occurs but there is definitely something causing this.

Hey, I really hope someone can help me here since I get a BSOD more and more often. Weird is, that (I think) it usually happens when I'm browsing and not in game (play quite a lot of video games). Here is the Event Viewer Log from the most recent crash: - System - Provider

Kernel event 41 in BSOD Crashes and Debugging
Starting a week ago, my PC began crashing due to a Kernel_Data_Inpage_Error. This occurs at seemingly random times (i.e. not when it wakes up from sleep, etc.) and try as I might, I have not been able to successfully troubleshoot the issue. I attached the data retrieved from the SF Diagnostic...
Kernel-power 41 event - how to fix? in Performance & Maintenance
Hi all, I've read through the responses for this same issue related to Windows 7 but am not familiar enough with Windows 8 to know if the same fixes would apply. I got my new ASUS laptop on Mother's Day this year, and the first event happened a week later. I've had this same event happen 6...
