Win8.1 SkyDrive - Can I filter for Offline file only?

    With Windows 8.1 upgrade.
My SkyDrive folder now become "smarter".
It knows every online files on SkyDrive.
But I want to (recursively) check which file/folder I really have it locally.
    How can I do that?

    Hello Khunpanya,

Not sure if this is what you meant, but if you view the SkyDrive folder in details view, you will have an "Availablity" column that will show you if the files/folders are "Online-only" or "Available offline".

    Hope this helps,

I don't have that - Might be an 8.1-only thing. But it's good to know.

Usually whatever you drag into that folder gets uploaded though...

    Hey Jon,

    Yep, it's an 8.1 feature.

    Hi Shawn,

    That's what I've noticed.

My situation is that the folder you see as "Online-only"
is actually can contain some "Available offline" files.

So how do I know that "Online-only Folder" actually contains some bits on my local drive (and how much does it)?

The only true way to know for sure is to open the folder and see what's "Online-only" or "Available offline".

It appears the folder will only show what you set the folder itself as, and not the individual files.

If you set a folder to "Online-only" or "Available offline", then it would also set everything in it to that as well at the same time. This can save you time. You will still be able to set individual files in the folder to be "Online-only" or "Available offline".
