weird networking problem

My computer connects to the network fine, works great in the desktop. when in the start page, it shows I am connected, but wenever I try to use Mail, Xbox games, store, ect they will not connect. any ideas?

Not so weird as you might think, common problem around here. So your saying the App's on the Metro page will not go online.

This is a problem with component store corruption but can usually be fixed by following the directions in the link. Just fixed this same problem yesterday.
