    Homegroup problems

Hi, I can't share anything in home group. I have already walked through this "how to" HomeGroup problems in Windows - Microsoft Windows Help

It seams for me that nothing is wrong here except one thing. I can't turn on libraries and devices content. After closing window previously "shared" settings automatically are back to "not shared". And this strange behavior is on both PC. I have tried several times turn on sharing from control panel and from metro PC settings, but useless.

Here is another Homegroup trouble shooter that may help. Check that all the relevant services are turned on, it may help to set some of them to Automatic. Check the system clocks etc. per the trouble shooter.

You might try running the sfc /scannow command to make sure there are no system file problems.

Do you have the homegroup sharing settings on both PCs set to share what you wanted?

no, because I can't - this main problem. I can turn on file sharing on first PC but not on second. So I can't get files that are on second PC. I tried to share specific folders, but it does not work too

Does the PC that you cannot share files from have Windows RT or Windows RT 8.1 installed on it by chance?

Turn on file sharing? Are you referring to Network Discovery or File and Printer sharing?

Can you check to see if Network Discovery is staying on in the Advanced Sharing Settings.

Can you check the C:>User folder settings to make sure that the User folder is shared out like the picture is showing.

If the User folder isn't shared correctly then none of the subfolders will be sharable.

When this problem occurs it's usually because Network Discovery isn't staying on as it's supposed too. Picture of this settings below.
