    No Available Wireless Networks Displaying

Problem with a Dell Latitude D620 laptop running Windows 8 Pro. After a fresh install of Windows I was able to setup a wireless connection successfully. However after connecting the laptop to a domain and clicking on the wireless network icon the blue bar appears with no text at all.

Did you install the right wireless driver?

It allowed me to initially set up a wireless connection after installing windows 8. That is why I am puzzled. I see in device manager the installed driver was for an Intel Pro/Wireless 3945ABG adapter which was installed by Windows. I checked Dell's site and see that it could be one of three available--- Product Support for Latitude D620 | Dell US

Have you tried changing the membership back to a workgroup like in the picture. Go to Computer,> Properties' upper left,> Then choose 'change settings' to the right.

I have tried moving the membership back to Workgroup but it had no effect. I also tried uninstalling the intel Wifi Drivers and reinstalling. Along with the Broadcom NIC drivers...Uninstall and Reinstall... but that also has no effect. I have a VPN client installed and I also tried uninstalling that. Maybe it was a Windows update that caused it?? I will do more digging..... Thanks for all the replies.

Also, run the troubleshooter. It can fix non-driver related problems.

Certain VPN's can cause this, Hamachi sometimes will cause connection problems.
