Hello!
I'm new here, so I hope I don't mess-up too badly! Anyway, I'm running Windows 8, (unfortunately), & I can't access certain files even though I'm the only one who uses this laptop & I'm also the Administrator. I tried numerous times to allow file sharing & change what I thought I should, but I kept getting red-lettered statements saying that I'm not allowed to make such changes. I really hate Windows 8!! Please tell me what steps to take so I can get to the files I need. There's no reason why I should be denied access to do anything when it's my own computer! Thanks in advance for your help!
Gratefully,
DogPal
