I've seen some threads relating to refreshing wifi connection lists. This is really really bugging me. Day in and day out, when I move from one location to another, the list of wifi connections gets stuck on the list from the previous location I was at and for the life of me I am unable to tell Win8 to refresh the list!!! why why why????

Where has the refresh button gone? One thread said that going in and out of the wifi list refreshes it automatically, but let me tell you it does not. The only way I get a refreshed list is to reboot the PC!

this is a strange issue. I also have this issue but only when on my school (College) WiFi. but when im on my own network there is no issue.
When I go to change connection the list shows all of the old connections and I have to restart to fix the issue.
Have you tried disabling the WiFi adapter card or running the troubleshooter?
also are you running windows 81?

Running Windows 8, 2012. Even stranger, one of the locations I regularly use wifi, after maybe an hour it says "connection limited" and I have to reboot. In other locations it works without a hitch. This morning I'm in a cafe and trying to tether to my iPhone and it just won't connect. Signal is strong but the PC (a Lenovo X230) just won't connect.
