Hello
I am with a guest who let me use the Ethernet cable from her modem to my router then to my laptop with the second Ethernet cable.
Is there someway, for a moderately skilled user, that I can enter her network and be able to move away from the Ethernet cable I am tied to?
I did try to run the Ethernet to the router from the modem and an keep her Ethernet cable to her pc. We keep her pc off all the time and use mine.
I rebooted and tried recycling both modem and router but the router stayed orange not green.
I am trying to avoid a situation that I cannot set both her pc and mine back to where they were when I leave.
Thank you
