disconnection problem

hi everyone

I am having a problem with my network wireless connector, my computer keeps disconnecting and I have to
reconnect. how can I stop this from happening.

Do you have a decent signal to the router?

More than 2 bars?

Is this a laptop?

Does it disconnect only when youre not using it or when the computer goes to sleep?

yes I have a good signal (4 bars)

yes it is a laptop.

it disconnects intermittently, it disconnected a couple of minutes ago.

Is your computer the only device losing connection?

Can you direct wire to it to see if it also does it when wired?

Have you reset your modem/router since your problem began? (turning it off, then back on)

yes I can connect Ethernet cable

no modem has not been reset

Give this a shot...

go to your device manager

find your wireless network adapter

uninstall the wireless network adapter

on top click action

then click scan for hardware changes

you will have to re-enter your network password when you reconnect, see if it stays stable now..
