Hello
I apologize for the lack of information but I am trying to help a relative long distance who knows even less than I do about pcs.
He had his Acer worked on at Staples and when he got home, he could not get Comcast. Staples told him to go to Comcast.
I think he has Win 7 so shouldn't he click on the icon lower right for internet access and try to enter his password.
I think that should work but if he does not know his password, I think he could call Comcast for an interim one until he can set up his own.
If it does not work, I think he could right click and click trouble shooting or even to open the network and sharing center.
Again I apologize for the lack of information but I will contact him and ask for more details.
Do any of my suggestions hold water?
Thank you.
