Windows 8 ICS Trouble

Hey guys,

I'm having a lot of trouble connecting to Xbox live via my laptop due to windows 8. Before upgrading to windows 8, I used to be able to connect to Xbox live through my laptop on windows Xp and windows 7. Since upgrading to windows 8 i can no longer do this, which is rather frustrating. I connect to Xbox live with a 3 mobile internet dongle plugged into my laptop. I then share this internet connection with the Xbox via a ethernet cable to connect to Xbox live. This was the case with windows Xp & 7. I do the exact same process with windows 8 but I cannot connect to xbox live. I have tried countless times using various methods. I should note that on the xbox live connection test it passes the first 'Xbox 360 to Network' section, but then fails on the 'Network to Internet' section.

This is the status I get after failing the Xbox connection test:

So does anyone have any idea what my problem is, and how to fix it? Any help is appreciated, thanks very much in advance.

I'm not so sure about ICS working through a 3 mobile wireless connection but the link below does show some steps you can take to get ICS working with Windows 8.
