Hi all,
I recently got windows 8 and have found it to be rather volatile. I use WiFi in my house on my desktop Intel PC and my computer strangely sometimes works to get to the internet and sometimes it doesn't coming up with connection limited and after troubleshooting it "doesn't have a valid ip configuration". Ive tried the netsh winsock and the ip reset commands in command prompt (admin) and nothing happens i'm really at a loss. According to some people A/V programs can mess stuff up so i uninstalled them. hopefully someone can help here is my ipconfig/all details.

From this you aren't picking up anything from the router at all, the IP showing is the default one that Msoft uses when there are no connections coming from the router.

You may want to try resetting the router or updating the router's firmware.

Your system specs aren't listed so I can't check to see if this is a possible driver problem or not.

my network doesn't use a router it uses a "switch" which according to my brother updates itself.

Can't use the switch without a router, your brother is mistaken, switches don't update at all.
