HI all just formatted to install windows 8 and then install the Belkin wireless software for the dongle after that was complete restarted and the dongle wasn't showing any available connections Got the software from Belkin Have noticed quite a few people having the same issue after looking through google and no fix as of yet. Unless there not compatible.

I clicked your link and noticed that you downloaded a driver for wireless G? Windows 8 was built for speed. I am not sure what is the extent of its compatibility with wireless G. But my take is if you are upgrading your software (that is, win 8 os), you should compliment it with a hardware upgrade. Otherwise, you will just be pushing your system to the limit or you can't push it at all. Wireless adapters are not really expensive.
So you may be right, it may not be compatible because I dont think Belkin will rewrite a wireless G driver for win 8 because it is a dying system. It either N or AC these days.
Cheers!

I have sorted it now well partly by Doing a dual boot with Win 7 , I had the Belkin software installed in windows 7 which works of course so after installing windows 8 i installed the same Belkin software which wouldn't work so going into device manager right clicking the yellow marked Belkin in network adapters then clicking browse my computer for driver software pointing it to the windows 7 partition and that updates it entering the WiFi-Password, Done.:)
