Hi.

Not very hi-tech in this field so please bear with me.

My building has wifi. I am able to connect and surf the net.
There are 4 connections available to use.
Periodically, I get disconnected/reconnected or my signal is very low.
Am told it's due to the number of users connecting at one time or accessing a sight that may reduce my signal.

I do have access to change the 4 Network connection properties.
- Set to connect automatically when in range.
- Set to mixed band with options 2.4or 5.2 Ghz open.
My network card is Centrino ®Ultimate-N 6300 AGN

Is there any hardware or software I can purchase that will boost my signal?
Specify the product name or show link please.
Can I tweak software components on my laptop that might help?

I use win8 platform.

Thanks.
TC.

There are quite a few range entenders available (example). But, I am not sure if any would work with your wifi.
