'Wireless' setting doesn't appear in the Change PC Setting

I've got a Lenovo all-in-one 64 bit PC. When I click on Change PC Settings in the Settings charm the 'Wireless' option is missing. It appears exactly as expected on my laptop - also a 64bit windows 8 machine.

Anyone any idea what's going on?
(My bluetooth mouse and keyboard are working as is my wireless LAN connection, so it's clearly working but I can't change anything).

Does this wireless NIC show up in Device Manager under Network Adaptors with the driver installed?

I'm not sure which model of Lenovo we are working with but have you tried Windows update Center of the Lenovo site for driver updates?

It should be showing up under Settings, then Network.

    Hi chev65. Thanks for helping.

The wireless NIC does show up in Device Manager and is working fine in terms of internet access etc. What I want to do is control the bluetooth settings and can't find any anywhere on my machine! They don't show up in any search even though my mouse and keyboard are bluetooth and working fine.

Its a Lenovo Ideacenter B320 and I can't find anything useful or relevant on the Lenovo site.

Here are pictures of what I've got (and therefore what I'm missing)

Bluetooth devices aren't supposed to show up in the list for wireless connections.

The Bluetooth adaptors should be showing up in Device Manager and you should be able to adjust them in Device Manager or the Control panel.

Thanks guys. Bluetooth adaptors aren't showing up in Device Manager and the only thing I understand to connect to in Control Panel is Devices and Printers and it's not showing up there either - though not entirely sure what I would be looking for there.

Lenovo comes with a strange Bluetooth manager to look after the mouse and keyboard and that is the only mention of bluetooth I can find anywhere on my PC. Oh - and that says that both are currently disconnected (I did just write that sentence with the 'disconnected' keyboard!)

Any other places to look or something to uninstall and reinstall? I'm stuck.

chev65 - I put in the picture of the network settings to show that it's missing the Airplane mode. That is another thing missing from this PC.

I am having the exact same problem but I am using an acer predator. I been through countless steps and tutorials and after rehashing them with Acer they want me to factory reset my computer. Frankly it's taken me a long time to troubleshoot problems that I've now been able to fix, so I am hesitant when a customer support rep (who is not having to do this on their own PC) is whimsically throwing that at me. I could this have something to do with the Version of windows 8 or are they all supposed to have that wireless option on the PC settings screen? A driver issue maybe? The funny thing is though you have been able to get your keyboard to work, mine says it is enabled, but disconnected, and I can't get it to find ANYTHING. NOTHING. Any help on this would be great... and thanks to those of you who have already contributed to this post.

I'm beginning to wonder if there's a difference between mobile Windows 8 machines and desktop ones. That would explain why it appears on one and not the other. Doesn't make sense but would explain it. Maybe Microsoft don't think Desktop users would ever want to turn bluetooth off.

Though that's not an answer because it still doesn't give us the opportunity to change Bluetooth settings anywhere.

Anyone out there able to help Smidgeons and me?

Check under "Devices". You can also manage bluetooth connections under it.
