First I must say the site looks amazing! Great design!
I need some help making it all work together....here is what I have:
DELL M6600 Precision Mobile Workstation laptop running Windows 8 Pro w/ WMC
- becomes my desktop when docked at home to two 24" monitors.
- speaker bar only for sound.
- smartglass app installed
DELL ZinoHD 410 running Windows 8 Pro w/ WMC
- hook up to my home theater receiver via HDMI
XBOX 360 (slim - 250GB model)
Denon AVR-1913 network home theater receiver
- with Polk Audio 5.1 surround.
iPhone 4 (waiting for Samsung to release the ATIV S Win 8 phone)
- Denon receiver remote app
- Smartglass app
Additional Info:
Everything that can be hard wired is hard wired on my home network.
I have an XBOX Live Gold membership and music pass
I have an iTunes library that I would like to use without iTunes. WMP seems to play my iTunes library fine.
Here is what I want to do:
I would like to be able to stream my music to my networked home theater receiver without doing 10 things to get it working each time.
(Like when I used iTunes and Airplay - I would start a song in iTunes on my laptop or iPhone and it would turn on my receiver and start playing. When I was done, I simply close iTunes and used my Denon remote app to turn my receive off)
I would like to have all my music (iTunes library and XBOX music) in one big playlist that either plays the list form start to finish or have on shuffle.
Is this possible on the Microsoft side?
