Windows 8 apps

I was wondering this apps (ex: Weather, News, store) eats my internet even though i close them and unpin them in the start menu (the metro UI). anyone can answer?

Right click on any live tile (weather, store etc) then click on 'Turn live tile off' at the bottom.

thanks for the info, but i cant see any start settings in my charms bar

No problem.

Did you open the Charms bar while on the Start screen instead of from the desktop? "Start settings" is only available from the Start screen.

under the settings in "START" theres only , start , tile , help. start is not click able, tile is only few options. anyways if i just turn off the tile its fine right?

It's under Tiles, but the Data used for tile updates option is only available if you have your wireless connection set as metered.

Sure, if you don't want to have live tiles turned on for a Store app, then turning them off it would be fine. It's basically setting it's data usage to zero.
