God, I just got Win 8 and feel so lost. I don't know if anyone else is as confused as I am with Win 8 but I feel like a naïve starter new to computers after using and being very familiar with all past versions of Windows.

I currently have 2 wifi networks in my house. One is going away. The one I originally set up my new laptop to. I can not for the life of me how to find and connect to my other network.

Sorry for the complete naïve question, but any help would be appreciated.

Thanks You.

Apparently MS wanted it that way or is incompetent. On your issue,
go the the desktop from the Metro start screen. Once there you can access control panel > network and sharing center. See if "Change adapter settings" helps. Use "Connect / Disconnect" after right clicking on the right network.
