Solved Connection to my localhost websites on Windows 8

Since updating to Windows 8 I havent been able to connect to my local web services on my main pc eg Sickbeard,SANZB and Plex but my Samsung Tv does connect through DLNA no problems. I have a surface and would like to be able to add shows and check downloads etc.
Tried disabling firewall and Windows defender.

It might help to turn on the Media Devices sharing setting in PC settings, picture below.

Mine was turned off by default.

With the surface or wireless connections it should help to turn on the metered connection setting. This setting seems to prevent certain things from connecting or downloading device info. Two different ways to change this setting links below. :party:

I turned on IPv6 and it worked , cant remember why i had it off but this worked for some reason
