I have three devices I'll mention in this post:
1. Laptop - Toshiba Laptop w/ Windows 8 Pro (wired/wireless)
2. Surface - Microsoft Surface RT (wireless network only)
3. Xbox 360 - wired
When any device is wired on my router, "Xbox 360" will show up in Network, and then I'll be able to Play To from my music app or video app.
When any device is wireless on the same router, the xbox won't show up in network, which means no Play To. The weird part is the Surface (wireless only) is still able to use smartglass to control the xbox, wirelessly.
I need my xbox to show up when I'm wireless, as going to my desktop to change a song isn't the most convenient option
