I'm trying to use my wireless adapter to broadcast an access point to share my internet which I get through my Ethernet port. The overall goal is to system link my Xbox's throughout the house and also connect to Xbox Live. I tried using this guide, but my Xbox 360 gives me an IP Error... Any ideas?

If you noticed in the guide they are creating the hosted wireless A/P through a wireless connection. This is the way it's meant to be set up.

The Virtual WiFi isn't really meant to create a hosted wireless A/P by sharing an Ethernet connection, that's why all the tutorial's show them sharing through a wireless connection, although using the correct static IP's it may be possible.

It apparently was possible with Windows 7 but it was hit or miss form what I heard.

I've seen similar complaints that it won't work on Windows 8 but I haven't tried it myself.
