Solved no internet after upgrading to win 8

just upgraded to win 8.............no internet connection..........troubleshooter says "Broadcom netextreme 57xx gigabit controller is having driver or hardware related problems...........please help, im working this moment off of a laptop so I can connect but all important work stuff is on a PC.

I just disabled Avast firewall and no success..............any idea,s

I just checked the device manager....yes a yellow triangle next to ethernet controller, downloaded latest LAN driver and tried to update however it said this device already has the best driver..............clicked on properties it said "the device cannot start code 10"

internet was working fine prior to upgrading to win 8......................any ideas...........anyone

Solved? i figured it out..............had to delete the old ethernet driver and reinstall a new one, done deal
