Hello everyone, I'm having trouble with my wifi. Unlike many other cases, my wifi worked after I installed Windows 8. However, yesterday we messed around with our wifi (we set up two networks - one regular, one as a guest network), and eventually my computer stopped showing any wifi networks at all. There are 3 networks around me, one is our neighbor's network, two are ours. One is a guest wifi, one is our regular wifi.
I have a dual boot setup with Ubuntu and Win8, so I tried booting into Ubuntu. Ubuntu recognizes all the networks around us, and so do all the other computers on our network. Ethernet still works, but after resetting the wireless adapter without an ethernet cable attached, the computer doesn't even recognize any networks at all (still no cables attached). After resetting the wifi adapter, there is no way to see any networks besides ethernet anymore.
Help! How can I get my wifi working again?
