Try this: make taskmanager active, then push Shift+Win+Arrow (right or left, depends where you want to move it to).

After taking ownership you must still grant acces rights to the owner by rightclicking the folder in question, Properties, Security. But of course you did that :-)

What you can do (I did) is relocate My Documents, My Pictures, Desktop, Downloads. Just go to the original location, choose Properties, choose Location, and relocate. Works fine on my W 8.1.

Sounds as a safe option.

I think TopGunDCP is right. As long as the "new"drive is called E like the "old" one, it should work.
