I believe you windows got corrupted after updating. Few driver or any hardware fails to upload will show blue screen of death. Check if all the hardware are working fine, if yes then try roll back to windows 8 again from BIOS.

After the update I'm facing some issues with my Old games, some of them are lagging while other show certain FPS drop. My last driver was working fine and have no issues but after the update there are few issues.
