No problems on Windows 10 Pro x64. Have the original URL in the Registry.
Congrats on being a father for the second time. I have two sons myself, all grown up.
I no longer get the error message on Windows 10 Final. I have the default URL http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=252669&clcid=0x409. If I recall correctly when I first installed Windows 10 I still got the error. Somewhere down the line I stopped getting them.
Upgraded to Windows 10 from 8.1 and got the error. Changed the URL in the Registry but I still get the error. I haven't seen it at Windows startup. it showed up once after Windows was running for awhile. I'll keep an eye on it.
Tried Sammy's fix and it seems to work. The problem might lie in KB2919355. IF you Google it you'll see a lot of complaints that it is causing all sorts of problems.
I took the easy way out and restored by system drive from a disk image I took before applying two of the updates.
I didn't receive any errors so it's either KB3022345 or KB3048043 that's the cause.
**** Most likely KB3022345 is the culprit
Here is some more info on this patch:

This problem went away for me in September and today it came back. I did install three optional WU patches this morning. One of them must have reintroduced the problem.
KB3022345
KB3048043
KB2919355
I'll uninstall them and see what happens.
A related question. Outlook 2013 is my default mailto: program. When I click on such a link in Firefox it opens up Outlook in the create new mail screen with the recipients email address filled in. This is fine.

I have my two monitors in extend mode under Windows 8.1.1. I also have the 14.9 AMD CATS. Here's my tiny problem. If I have a window on the right side that has a tooltip it extends ever so slightly onto my second monitor. Sometimes it a border shadow, other times I can see the actual right...
My first drive 'died' about 4 months ago, my second one today. By 'died' I mean that with either drive hooked up my computer hangs at the BIOS/UEFI screen that has the message that F1 or Del will get you into setup. It stays there forever. Removing the drives restores things to normal.

I set "Never install driver software from Windows Update" and "Automatically get the device app and info provided by your device manufacture" to UNCHECKED.
Rebooted and got lots of Warnings about Windows Update and I think two other related things.
I replaced a crap load of Errors with a...
