Windows 8.1 - issues with drivers (probably)

I'm running memtest at the moment. After one hour and 1 complete iteration, there are 0 errors. It's still running. If RAMs are OK, I'm seriously thinking windows 8.1 might be at fault.

OK will do, when I get home. However, would 650 Ti produce this error on 64 bit VLC, and NOT on 32 bit VLC?

No, it did not. Still the same error :/ I have now the latest drivers. However, VLC crashed even before ANY drivers AT ALL. Clean install with no drivers, VLC produced the SAME error :/

Windows 8.1 - issues with drivers (probably)

well, well, well, this is interesting: I formatted computer, wasn't connected to the web, so no updates from the web could be made, booted to windows, resolution was very low, because I didn't have any drivers installed at all, and then I installed VLC 64 bit from USB. well that's kind of hard, since they're completely different computers, completely and totally different hardware. However, the computer without vlc error has no additonal graphic card, than the one on-board.

Could on-board graphics really be causing all of this? Update: yeah, my intel gpu drivers are up to date. I don't use any additional codec's pack's, VLC doesn't need that.

Windows 8.1 - issues with drivers (probably)

Update: when I installed 32 bit VLC, it worked without any errors! Why is the 64 bit VLC causing these problems? I know it's not the VLC's fault, because I installed it on a different computer and it worked OK. Also, my motherboard graphic card is still active; it wasn't disabled when I added...

Windows 8.1 - issues with drivers (probably)

I haven't put this under driver, nor hardware section, because I just don't know what's wrong. I'm really losing my mind over this. Like, really losing my mind! I hope someone will be able to help me. I have a new computer, everything was tested so there are no compatibility issues... or at...
