Chack the hash sum on your iso... I have downloaded many iso's and many of them has been corrupt files. So a re download could solve some of your troubles
Further development:
I have now tried to boot from a dvd which is burned from a ISO with correct sha1 hash sum. This dvd booted fine in my girlfriends PC, but I'm not installing win8 there.
But this same dvd does not boot on my computer, after choosing to boot from dvd I get the same error...
I now have a iso with correct hash sum. Tried to make an bootable usb with the windows tool, but when I tried to boot I got the same bootmgr image is corrupt.
Anybody have any clever ideas to what I can do?
The download returned the wrong hash sum. Will try from microsft again. But I must have downloaded maybe 10 iso files now, and while I have checked all of them, it is weired that not one would work.
I mean, if I use the downloader program that microsft provides then it goes through some file...
Yes I think it worked for most people. Might be something wrong with the iso's, so i am about to finish a torrent download of the iso now and going to check the hash sum to be sure that it is correct.
