wow, they should definately give a warning or something before doing that

i was troubleshooting an issue with the desktop flashing a blue screen, it was frustrating to say the least but one of the things i did was delete everything form my desktop and put in the recycling bin. after that, i did a windows 8 refresh. did not know that the files would be moved/deleted...
