what would be interesting to see is if some other wifi device had the same issue. If say an Xbox or a phone didn't have an issue, say you can watch as many as you want on the other device then you know it lies in your system, if it loses connection then it lays within the router

What i like to do when ever i have connection issues is to use the ping command to see if i can even get out of my local network but since you say that you can use an external wifi adapter to connect then it could be hardware based. I would still do the ping command while using the internal card...
