I don't ever plan to take it with me. The only time it would run on battery is during a power outage at which time I shut it down since I'm on DSL and the modem has no power either. Thank you for your response.

I leave my laptop on and plugged in all the time. It has been charging all the time and never gets past 75%. It sits on my desk and plugged in all of the time and never runs on the battery. I don't care that it won't charge past 75%.. Is this something to worry about?
