I just tried using Google DNS settings of 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 in the xbox and ethernet but it made no difference. Anybody got any ideas?

OK so my xbox says that it cant get a DNS. I've been told what to put in for the IP address (on both xbox and laptop) but what do I put in for DNS? (on both)

:( Didn't work either. It says that troubleshooting cannot identify the problem.

I uninstalled McAfee security and fooled the advice rom the video but the problem is sill there.

I just did that brummyfan but it made no difference. Any other ideas?

Hi. I got a new laptop with windows 8 yesterday and I'm having a problem. When I plug in my Ethernet cable for xbox live it says that it is an undefined network and has limited access. How do I fix this? Any replies would be greatly appreciated. P.S. I'm not very good with computers so if you...
