Thanks for the help everyone, I ended up running the scannow utility 3 times, then the DISM utility, then the scannow tool again with a reboot between each scan. It took a few tries but now the scan comes up clean so it seems like everything is back to normal. Thanks again for the help. Randy

Thanks again Dude and Cliff, the system restore was successful, it took about 30 minutes but it worked. I will now run the utility that Cliff suggested and try the Macrium Reflect application as suggested to make it easier to restore next time. Thanks again, Randy
