Notepad has a restriction where carriage returns need to be formatted exactly as it needs, while a lot of programs don't follow the required convention. You can't really fix it, and as you've found out a lot of other programs read carriage returns in several formats (including Wordpad).

You're correct. However, games on an SSD do decrease the lifespan (due to the amount of writes), but most modern SSDs have such a long lifespan that it doesn't really matter anymore.
You could take a look at Disk Management to see if there is only one drive instead of two. You can open it by right clicking the start button, and then clicking Disk Management.
It depends on how old the drive is. As they get older, their flash memory wears out and they become slower. You could try to use software like KillDisk to reset the drive completely, however it is not guaranteed to provide any increase in performance. Be sure to backup beforehand.
It indicates that the current graphics driver is lacking some (or all) OpenGL features it needs to render the game. You should try updating the drivers for your graphics card. This site should provide you with the correct drivers (use the auto detect feature): Download Drivers
Just wanted to say I've found the solution myself after a couple of hours of searching... Turns out you need to enable DTS Connect in the SupremeFX control panel. It's just incorrectly named, but if you turn it on, set the width to max and set it to music mode, everything works fine.
