No, in windows 8/8.1 it's enabled even if you have an SSD. Superfetch is different. It ignores it. You can disable print spooler and bluetooth service and homegroup services if you don't share files over your network.

760, 3570k, win8.1,8GB ram, 800w. I have good fps but it is choppy gameplay and input lag. I don't know why :S i want it to be smooth but i don't know how to :( i have already 1000Hz mouse polling rate but it's still not smooth.

Hey i should maybe upgrade to windows 8, and the PC only have 512MB ram. I know the req is atleast 1GB RAM but i heard windows 8 only use 200mbit for some people. I am only gonna make words documents for school work, so nothing advanced. Thanks.
