I have a toshiba c50 satellite On windows 8.1 And I'm pulling my hair out coz I spent to long now on the stupid Laptop. £300 from new and I can install Google chrome for windows 8.1 but it never opens so I can not Sign into Google to check my emails and to use the web pages that I have saved...

I just put my new hard drive in my advent Roma 1000 laptop. Put my windows 8.1 pro c.d in then pressed f12 to start the boot. Windows open up and I choice my country and select install. It's starts installing windows then I get past the getting files ready for installation then Features then...

That's what I have been saying I turn power on after installing hard drive f12 then boot cd iOS . Thanks anyone

when you say boot the cd do u mean press the f12 key ?

So what I'm more concerned about is after hard drive is fitted and I turn power button on it will start up not like my last one just did nothing. Yes then I will f12 and boot cd to put my windows back on. Is that right ?

on my last laptop i had a aspire 5550 and it put a bran new hard drive in it, after puting the back on and battery to gether i then pressed the power button on the laptop. nothing completly dead.. that was my first time doing that... i now have a advent 1000 and it needs a new hard drive which...

in have windows 8.1 my anti virus is avg internet security 2014 i also have malwarebytes anti malware. will these clash?

i done all the MBAM scans in safe mode and normal mode, results are all 0 never happened before, just the last 4-5 weeks
