I use the SCEP (System Center Endpoint Protection) client on the public computers.
Mostly because I can and have access to it through work.
It works also standalone, but be sure to tick the choice in Win Update: Update other Microsoft products.

Regarding this folder: %SystemRoot%\System32\GroupPolicyUsers
(User/Group Specific GPOs Configuration)
I tried to copy a folder in this folder.
It had a lot of numbers in it.
I pasted it in the "GroupPolicyUsers" folder on another computer.

Logged into Win 8.1 on computer 1 as admin user.
I copied the backup vbs-file to the desktop.

I am setting up a computer for use in a public library.
The OS is Win 8.1 Enterprise.
Also the computer auto login with a user named "Kiosk".
And I use local group policy to lock it down.
The computer is only allowed to run Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Calculator and Internet Explorer.
I was thinking about using Win 8.1s kiosk mode,
but so far I have read I can only use it on one program as default.
Can I still use it if I have multiple programs like IE, Word and so on installed.
Just having the icons on the desktop and lock the desktop down.
