I uninstalled the driver manually installed the drivers from Asus' support site Manually updated the driver in the device manager by locating the files I just installed success it's fixed. thank you. Any idea what the Base System Device's are though? I don't know which drivers to install for those

Sorry, how do I figure that out? In my device manager the Ethernet Controller appears with a yellow flag, is that what you mean?

I did the repair install, and it is still having the same problem.

I went to the Asus website and the drivers for my ethernet port (JMICRON LAN DRIVERS) will not run. An error message pops up that says: Fail to Call ProcInitSetupArg! I tried looking for updates through the device manager, but it doesn't find any.

My ethernet port isn't working either. In my Device Manager, Ethernet Controller and 3x Base System Device's are yellow flagged. Doesn't seem good!
