I set up a VPN connecting via SSTP & EAP-MSCHAP-V2. This works on multiple machines, just not on this one running Windows 8. It doesn't matter if I connect via 3G or via WiFi - whenever I connect the VPN, all network connections go to "Limited". I don't have any connection to any outside world...

There are no big changes - had another BSOD but again relating to rdyboost.sys. I will reinstall Windows on Monday I think - it's really unstable (though Win7 worked perfectly).

All Windows 8 updates are applied. I also updated the drivers you mentioned. Also the latest chipset/mb drivers have been applied from Dell. Any other suggestions? Otherwise I will just reinstall Win8 and I'm pretty sure the problem will go away - I never liked upgrade installs anyways.
