another strange thing, when i connect an external USB HDD to either port it is recognized by the system because i can see it in the disk manager, the icon to safely disconnect appears, i can see it under devices but...i can't "open" it because it doesn't appear under "my computer" or in the...

here it goes: when i try to run "Recover", an app from Samsung it says it can't find the recovery partition and the program needs to be shut. tryed several times, always the same.

Hopachi thanks for your patience! it does help to explain! but i still think it's weird 94,4 out of 128! i've got a macbook pro (late 2011 version) with a Crucial M4 128GB i installed and nothing like this happened the differencies were about the same numbers you mentioned. in this case...

under "my computer" the information below the SSD says 61GB free off 94,4GB! so total disk space available is only 94,4GB. this is strange, or is it not?

ok guys, thanks again! just finished "theog" process and...it booted first time! running the AS SSD the results were: please note that it says "off/Alignment @ 4K Cluster" do i have a problem?
