the files are in our remote server and the are opened by different people. In most cases we are able to open 3 or more files at once but sometimes the problem happens that no more than one opens so I close the file and open another and all the others needed and it works fine.

Good times of the day :), I have excel 2013 installed on win8 and i have several excel files on the internet that i try to open simultaneously and here is the problem: sometimes when one file is open and i try to open another it doesn't open until I close the first one. Does anyone have a clue...

they replied that they are aware of the issue and maybe they will solve it in the next version, meanwhile i am stuck with the alt-shift key in switching languages.

i misgudged. it was because of the punto switcher program and the problem disappears after i exit the progam, so i sent their support an email, hopefully they will answer.

wow thanks for the tip.. all those years of computer experience and i lack imagination and troubleshooting inovation. it turns out it was the team viewer process. Once terminated icould double click again :). i put it service in manual start up so it doesn't run and it seems i should drop them...

Good idea :) however when i searched for restore points a point only 2 dats ago exists and the transformation pack was installed about 3 months ago so that won't work. thanks for the idea anyway :)

well this is the default .. i could switch to single click but i'd rather solve the problem. to your quote i'd reply: do not hold the word if it is of benefit.

Hello, I tried to adjust the double click speed but it has no effect. Any icon on desktop doesn't open until the third click. Once i am in my computer double clicking works fine, the issue only occurs on desktop. I suspect it is related to some program but i don't know which. Other domain...
