Well the kicker is that Windows is booting of a speedy little SSD, thus the quick boot up time. My point was that the BIOS takes longer to POST to get into the Windows boot than the Windows boot takes, which doesn't make any sense. POSTing should be pretty quick, not take that long. ~Lordbob

Takes my computer longer to POST than it does to load Windows with EFI. Probably about 8 seconds from hitting start to getting to the windows loading screen, which is maybe 5 seconds from there to log in. ~Lordbob

Well, having the option to have a touch screen seems inevitable to me, but considering the number of people who don't like that, it is doubtful it would be ONLY touchscreen. ~Lordbob

Why would anyone assume that it would be touchscreen only? Why would you assume that it will be enabled on default? Most users do not own a touchscreen monitor or tablet, and if Windows 8 came out only with touchscreen, it would never sell. I am dead certain that default install will be mouse...

This won't be happening. XBox makes too much money selling games, they would never port it to PC. Even if they did, the games would be total crap. My computer could probably run 3 of them at max graphics at once and they would still look terrible. ~Lordbob

You can buy a 4 gig flash drive (all thats needed) for around $10. I would be willing to pay that much more for a USB install "disk" over an actual DVD. It installs about twice as fast easy (I used one to install onto my SSD). ~Lordbob

I really hope its distributed through a flashdrive instead of a DVD, but that's doubtful. Would be a nice extra option for say, $10 more (I would pay). ~Lordbob
