Windows 8 Developer Preview is an unfinished product, you should not be using it like you would Windows 7. It will not get security updates for every long or other important updates.

Well the reason why Microsoft hasn't made such a device...They are a SOFTWARE company. Well mostly a software company. But those devices would be made by other companies like Dell, HP for example.

Not to mention companies like Red Hat, Ubuntu and other major Linux distributors will have keys for use with UEFI Secure Boot. UEFI Secure Boot is not exclusive to only Microsoft and Windows.

I think you are over analyzing this Colonel Travis. Hung Metro apps will be dealt with he same way standard Windows apps are dealt with. Unresponsive app, Windows notifies you and asks if you want to terminate it. As for the privacy deal, like they cannot already do that. Which they can.

Thats because they don't realize that they don't have to close them, average users who use ipads, and smart phones will be right at home. But power users well new concepts are hard for them to grasp.
