dear davehc the 2011 sata driver is the one causing the issue... i used one for 2009 ....and it works perfect no more reboot on startup i think some issues with the latest drivers ...not just for the sata controller ..so just switch to an older version of the driver if you know who is giving...

well everyone its seems nvstor.sys is the problem i bet we have a nvidia m/b this is the sata raid controller by nvidia i changed it to an older driver and the problem goes away look under device manager ...storage controllers..sata controller... the latest driver by nividia is no good try and...

thks gman but i have been running windows 7 on the same machine and never had this problem so i dont think its the memory issue..anyway..not really fussed since its just beta..

i have EXact Problem! however sometimes its boots first time fine... vewy weird however runs fine after that
