Will give it a go...I did notice if there is no files in the bin it stays open but soon as there is a file in the bin it shuts down after you open it

Hi folks, I'm having a strange problem on Windows 8.1, when I go into my recycle bin to look at what is in it...the window just closes! it does this every single time, I have also noticed that File Explorer has done it a couple of times. Has anyone else had this?

It's not my computer it is my nieces, installed the correct driver so let's hope there is no problems in the future

I have fixed the problem, hooked the laptop to my TV and it came on! downloaded the graphics driver and now everything is working fine thanks for the help werty, much appreciated

OK guys, my computer is slow and i felt it was time to reinstall windows. so i went to "update and recovery" and selected reinstall Windows, it said there was missing files and i needed my Windows CD (Windows 8 Pro CD), so i insert the CD and a message, cant exactly remember what the message...

If you mean just signing out of your account then click the picture on the top right hand corner of the start screen, there is a sign out option there

Does anyone know if a fix has been applied to this? all of a sudden my weather app seems to be working...very strange

Go to the start screen, then bring up the charms then select setting and at the top there is "Tiles" select that and you can clear the info from the tiles http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/5257-apps-clear-personal-info-live-tiles-windows-8-a.html
