That is true in ie 10 however when I upgraded to windows 8.1 it installed ie11 which does not appear to have that option.

After updating to windows 8.1 I noticed that the pin icon is missing. Could someone please post (if there is) another way to pin a web site to the metro screen other than using that Icon

Thanks I'm all set. I was able to activate the windows 8 repair function in another profile and install the windows 8.1 from the windows store after the repairs were completed. Thanks again everyone Jeff
